My Addiction: Little Debbie Marshmallow Supremes
wants to stay at home with the babies as much as possible and she’s scared that once she goes back to work she won’t get to see them a lot. But unfortunately they cannot afford to live on one person’s salary so she’s going to have to go back. But I can totally see how I’d want to stay home with the baby as much as I can. When I was born, my mom got a whole year of paid maternity leave to take care of me (that’s Europe though, they don’t do that in the US ever.)

While I like my desserts, I’m typically NOT someone who consumes large quantities of mass produced snack cakes, candies, etc. Now those made at home, I’ll certainly eat my share of them. However, being here in Bristol, VA, I’ve discovered at the local Food City; Little Debbie Marshmallow Supremes.
Today I went to an on-campus talk by Shimon Peres, former Israeli Prime Minister and winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for his role at the Oslo Peace Accords. Outside about twenty protesters were chanting: “Occupation is a crime, from Iraq to Palestine.” For an octogenarian Peres appeared to be in good health, though a little low-energy. He stood very straight before the podium and spoke with deliberate assuredness, a credit both to his military background and decades as a politician.
